Despite the second chime available to plug in upstairs, the overall effect is still not loud enough for our house. As soon as there is a TV on or we are in a back room it is impossible to hear the door bell. With just two tunes to choose from you can;t even try out different pitches for effect. It would have been good to get a better idea of what to expect by way of volume. It is fine for a flat but we are somewhat disappointed and likely to replace this again.

Does what you expect…..it’s a doorbell! Good clear chimes, like the fact you plug in the chimer as it never runs out of batteries.
